Here's what Steve Howe posted on his own Guitar Rondo website about our gig together at the Robin 2 on June 9th 2005

9th June The Robin 2, Wolverhamton. England -- Guest of The Fragile Band.

I had dreamed up the idea of doing a spot and playing with The Fragile Band. Steve Carney, their vocalist had made it happen but there was no time for a rehearsal, other than prior to the show. By 4.30 p.m. everyone had arrived at the venue and the equipment only need my amp and acoustic rack set up to be able to rehearse the 3 Yes titles we had selected.

Only the first song was played twice, the others just once at the soundcheck. It was surprising for us all, how much it gelled. They launched it to a 1 hour, 20 minute set covering most eras of Yes. "Astral Traveller" was particularly good. Then I played solo on my Martin MC 28 for just over 30 minutes, containing lots of Yes stuff. After a short break, partly to clear my acoustic set up off, I returned with the band. "Siberian Khatru", with an extended solo to "Wurm". Then the entire Roundabout.

I have to say that they really play our music well! It's nicely controlled but also reaches the peaks too! They're so dedicated, so my personal thanks to: STEVE on vocals / ROB on guitar / MAX on keyboards / TOM on guitar also / JOHN on bass and MITCH on drums. The audience were packed in (you know, like sardines!) and it was hot, all the best ingredients for a rockin' night. So thanks to the audience too! No wonder I was smiling!
