It’s been nearly ten months since that wonderful gig in Switzerland with Steve Howe of Yes, and it is with some considerable pleasure that Fragile are finally able to announce plans for their ‘Ten True Summers Long’ Tour 2007-2008. The tour will celebrate a decade of Fragile.

Dates for the first leg have just been confirmed, and Fragile are delighted that for the third year running they will again be performing a number of shows with Steve Howe. Building on their work together since 2005, this year sees the Howe / Fragile schedule feature gigs not only in the UK, but also Belgium and Holland.

As
with every tour since 1999, Fragile will be performing classic Yes songs not
previously covered by the band. In
response to popular demand the material will include selections from Yes (1969)
and fresh titles from Time And A Word (1970) and the Yes Album (1971). The band
will also perform a masterwork from Tales From Topographic Oceans (1973)

Following the release of Live At The Half Moon (2000), Live In Helsinki (2002) and Odds & Sods (2005), Fragile will also finally be launching their debut recording of entirely original material. Written, recorded and mixed over the last five years, Aquaplanage captures Fragile at their creative best and displays the band’s considerable abilities as writers and performers.
Ten years on and Fragile are internationally renowned; their close and enduring association with Steve Howe setting them apart as something much more than an everyday tribute. Steve once described Fragile as “a very earthy and very English version of Yes”, and as plaudits go it doesn’t get much better than that!
